What happens after Star Trek Enterprise?

What happens to the crew? Is there a long time after Enterprise for Captain Kirk to jump in the Star Trek legacy?

1. Well, we know Chekhov was on that mission that was captured by Khan in THE WRATH OF KHAN.
   
   
   
   Sulu became Captain of his own ship. He appeared in an episode of VOYAGER where Tuvok had served on Sulu's ship when he was a young officer.
