When does the new star trek online come out?

They say in 2008. What day and month? Not Elite force. Star trek online.
Would anyone else have any more detail on this?

1. Star Trek Online is a MMO game that was being developed by Perpetual entertainment. Unfortunately last year Perpetual took a nose dive and is no longer in business. There are rumors currently that another studio referred to as "CS" or Cryptic Studios has taken over the project.
   
   
   
   If you go to http://www.crypticstudios.com/ on the main page you'll see a countdown timer, the background of this timer is actually concept art for Star Trek Online from Perpetual during early developement.
   
   
   
   With that being said, the Project is currently in limbo because nobody is sure whether the project is officially dead, or will be reannounced. Keep an eye on the timer, it could very well be the answer to your question. Besides, if you go to Startrek.com you'll find under the games category that there is prominent space being used for STO, unfortunately since CBS Paramount took over the Star Trek site, the creative team was dumped and not much has been done to keep startrek.com updated.
