Why do Admirals wear red in Star Trek Enterprise?

I am a little puzzled as to why Admirals in Star Trek Enterprise wear red with white piping instead of the command gold.

1. Well, remember that they like to tinker with the uniforms. In Next Generation, command was red - look at Picard. I think they want to make each series distinctive yet familiar, so they tinker with minor things.
